Changing lives through a ministry of God's House of Hope

Restored Transition Living

Restored Transitional Living is a ministry of God's House of Hope. It is a program residents can move into after graduating from our program. It is to further teach our residents of discipleship and discipline while living back in society. Our goal at Restored is to teach residents how to keep God in the forefront of their lives every day.

My name is Kaitlyn Standridge and I am 20 years old.

I am from Vernon Alabama and God has blessed me with a 3-year-old daughter named Caleigh Grace. My mother passed away when I was 2 years old in a car accident and since my father was an addict when I was younger, I was raised by his mother. I loved school and wanted a normal life/family but I eventually followed in my father’s footsteps.  As I got older, I began to be very rebellious and landed in jail for a theft charge which lead me to God’s House of Hope on September 28, 2017. Since then God has radically changed my life.  While being at GHOH I have learned who I am in Christ and have developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I have learned life-changing lessons that I will always use for the rest of my life from the Holy Spirit and God’s House of Hope. I am very grateful and thankful for everything He has done in my life. I completed the resident phase of the program back in June 2018 and stayed to take a staff commitment. I am now the Program Overseer as part of my staff training. Also, since I have been here, I was also blessed by getting my High School Diploma while doing the program. Right now, God has really opened doors in my life by restoreing my relationship with my daughter while at God’s House of Hope.   He is going to let me be the mother He has called me to be.
